The evaluation plan covers the 2021-2027 programming period and the preparation of the 2028+ programme. The evaluation plan improves the quality of its design and implementation by applying the criteria of effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and added value. It ensures that evaluation activities are sufficient, appropriate and coherent, that they follow all programmes financed by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund and that the necessary resources and information are available during the programming period and after its closure.
